Springfield, IL Residents: Get Rid of Hazardous Waste on November 3rd

Springfield, IL residents can safely and properly dispose of hazardous waste and materials on November 3, 2018. 

The city of Springfield has scheduled a hazardous waste collection event for city residents from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Residents wanting to participate must obtain a voucher.

Vouchers will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. To get one, call Public Works at 789-2255 or fill out an online form at www.springfield.il.us/HHW. Residents must provide their name, phone number, address, email address and type/amount of items being dropped off.
